The struggle at OMC continues in Koreatown.... please help
    -Please distribute widely-   Thank you for your past support to help us prevent the demolition by Oriental Mission Church of rent-controlled apartment buildings in Koreatown to make room for parking.   We need your help again.   We have just learned that the church has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to turn almost an entire muti-family residential block, demolish 2 more .. 		09/18/2009 1353
Be a KIWA Summer Intern!

KIWA Utility Bill Event Supports Ktown Community
A few weeks ago, KIWA Cultural Center was buzzing with people chatting in Spanish, Korean, and English. For the second year running, KIWA gave out thousands of dollars to local residents needing a little help paying the bills. With $5,000 in funds provided by an anonymous donor and earmarked for this purpose, KIWA was able to support some 56 households with up to $100 toward their documented past-due utility-bil.. 		03/07/2010 1330

2009: KIWA's Year of the MEMBER!

Campaign Update - Holding OMC Accountable
